Thursday started really slow due to celebrations with Saenchai and 13 Coins crew courtesy of Mr Coke. A few wines were had as well as a decent meal. Karaoke was sung and sung well, especially by Pornsaneh, Saenchai and Saenchai's wife. I think the whole tonal language thing makes Thais really good singers. Not many were seen come morning. Went down for breakfast about 10am and only found a few people that were up the night before. We headed to Abi and Aekapop's new place about 5 minutes around the corner. Had a quick look inside and it was very nice. For $180au a month it proves how expensive Perth really is. We hopped a taxi and headed towards Rajadenem stadium. Around the corner from Raja is an Amulet market just next to a big Buddhist temple. This is the temple Aekapop was once a Buddhist Monk. He recently derobed and returned to the world we know. One of the most humble and happiest people I have ever met in my life. I feel very honoured to have had the opportunity to meet Aekapop and sit in to one of his Muay Boran classes he frequently teaches. He tailored his lesson to suit our Muay Thai, with techniques and strategies we can apply to Muay Thai.
After visiting the market we took a boat back home, it was quite an experience to travel through central Bangkok by boat, after adjusting to the smells of course and the spray off the river. The evening consisted of a swim in the pool and a light dinner and not a lot more. Uploading photos and videos and updating blogs and websites then bed! Woke up this morning with some heart burn, possibly the most annoying feeling in the world. No training was on the cards due to this, just a trip to the local hospital... to use the general store, sike! Some breakfast and a nap and off to train this afternoon! Ohhh also, anyone thats seen Beautiful Boxer. Art the actor that plays Nong Tum trains here at 13 Coins so, another photo op was in order!
That is all, Peace!
