Congratulations Olay!

Soo Olay won his fight against Mitchell Seth on Sunday in a Unanimous Decision. Dominating the whole fight and throwing some lethal kicks. There was one point I was scared as where copped a head kick, at this point my heart regained rythem as he responded with a cheeky smile.

Enjoy

No Problem!

Felt a tad off it tonight so I didn't train, decided to head down still but with my camera handy. Got some nice shots of some of the boys training and Olay on the pads preparing for his upcoming fight against Mitchel Seth.

Enjoy...

Overhaul

I missing Thailand so much! Miss my new friends and all the people I left behind but, I don't want this blog to go to waste and be updated merely once a year when I go to Bangkok. I'll no doubt update this with updates on my training back home and also fight news if all goes to plan. As well as some photography due to falling in love with my EOS 550D DSLR. So I've decided to post some photos every now and then of photos I've taken and somewhat interest me.

Here goes...

That is all, for now.

Home, Home, Home

From shorts and singlets to jeans and hoodies. It's probably not even that cold just the sudden change from extreme heat to something mildly cold thats making me complain. Good to be back in my own warm bed though, a little too good come 630 in the morning when my alarms going off. I'm going to put together a bit of a photo gallery in the near future, just waiting on a few people to get back too so I can Hi Jack there photos. Too everyone I met in Thailand, I miss you like crazy. To everyone back home I'm glad to be back! To general stores in Perth, why cant you be more like 7Elevens. Cheap and good, not expensive and shit.

That is all... For now.

Halfway There

Just woke up in a backpackers dorm for the first time in Singapore. Was kinda wierd experience sleeping in a room full of strangers but that much better than sleeping at the Budget Terminal. Hope I didn't snore to much... Few more hours and back to Perth. Already missing Thailand but real keen to get back home and see my friends.

FML, Goodbye Thailand.

Shit... Last day at 13 Coins Resort and Gym. Going to miss this place, it actually feels like a home. I've met some really good people here, who I will be staying in touch with in the future. Some all time memories made and an experience I'll never forget. To everyone I've met on this trip I thank you for being some of the coolest people I've met and saying that we were the best Aussies you've met, even if you do say it to all the Aussies you meet. We know you really meant it this time. Saying goodbye to all the Trainers sucked, as too did saying goodbye to all the kids. Mickey, Mu, Gao, Fuk, Daad, Fa and the rest of them. Going to miss having Ou too hold pads and Sorn to annihilate me on pads. As well as Saenchai to embaress me any time we sparred, clinched or even crossed paths in the gym. Going to miss Orono's "MAJONG MAJANG" at the most random moments. I think I'm even going to miss Steve, the drunken Canadian guy who thinks I'm planning an invasion due to always being on my laptop. As well as the realllllly drunken German dude who's words are indescribable just as his karaoke skills are and his late night drunken shit talk and crying to the wooden post downstairs. Basically a lot of things!

Here's a list of the things we've done on this trip as well as the people we met and things I'm going to miss.

The Double McSpicy
The Americanas
The Rooftop Waterpark
My Thailand Whip
Saenchai Sor Kingstar
Cornering Lumpinee and Raja
Free Food Curtosey of Mr Coke
Being Raja Champion
Teaching English
Watching Tony Shower
Watching Seanchai Win
Hangin With Joshy
Majong Majang
Boon Shop
Hittin Pads With Ou
Aekapop and Ab
And the rest of these people!

I'm just about to head off to the Airport now so I can't write much more, but will post up a more detailed wrap up of the trip when I either get back home or need something to do in Singapore, for now.

Peace and Sawedee Krup and Majong Majang!

Daily Dime

Thursday started really slow due to celebrations with Saenchai and 13 Coins crew courtesy of Mr Coke. A few wines were had as well as a decent meal. Karaoke was sung and sung well, especially by Pornsaneh, Saenchai and Saenchai's wife. I think the whole tonal language thing makes Thais really good singers. Not many were seen come morning. Went down for breakfast about 10am and only found a few people that were up the night before.

We headed to Abi and Aekapop's new place about 5 minutes around the corner. Had a quick look inside and it was very nice. For $180au a month it proves how expensive Perth really is. We hopped a taxi and headed towards Rajadenem stadium. Around the corner from Raja is an Amulet market just next to a big Buddhist temple. This is the temple Aekapop was once a Buddhist Monk. He recently derobed and returned to the world we know. One of the most humble and happiest people I have ever met in my life. I feel very honoured to have had the opportunity to meet Aekapop and sit in to one of his Muay Boran classes he frequently teaches. He tailored his lesson to suit our Muay Thai, with techniques and strategies we can apply to Muay Thai.

After visiting the market we took a boat back home, it was quite an experience to travel through central Bangkok by boat, after adjusting to the smells of course and the spray off the river. The evening consisted of a swim in the pool and a light dinner and not a lot more. Uploading photos and videos and updating blogs and websites then bed! Woke up this morning with some heart burn, possibly the most annoying feeling in the world. No training was on the cards due to this, just a trip to the local hospital... to use the general store, sike! Some breakfast and a nap and off to train this afternoon! Ohhh also, anyone thats seen Beautiful Boxer. Art the actor that plays Nong Tum trains here at 13 Coins so, another photo op was in order!

That is all, Peace!
